Locate Japan on the world map.  Identify the four main islands (Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu).  Say something about the climate and geology.

  • Yamato
What did the ancient Japanese eat?  Wear?  Trade?  

What are some beliefs of the Shinto religion?  What does Sumo wrestling have to do with the Shinto religion?
